Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
So I had a rather unpleasant phone conversation with the Apple Store today. Apparently they went ahead and did repairs on my computer — replacing the motherboard, display and a couple other non-broken components (the hard drive was dying) without my permission; I had merely taken my computer in for a diagnosis. Since they did this without my permission, I hadn’t made the latest backup of my data (mind you, the computer was working fine when I took it in, it would occasionally greg-screen-of-death if I moved it.
So they wiped everything, and now they want $700, and I’m pissed. What do I do?
