A.M.O. is a large vase by Jean Marc Gady that “plays with imbalance and illusion” with a touch of political undertone. Two large glass containers are balanced on a pedestal like cannons but with flowers for ammunition. “The scene appears frozen in time, defying the laws of gravity”. After the jump, The French CanCan is for an installation at Gallery R’ Pure in New York and is an interpretation of the traditional cabaret dance. Gady has created a wheel of pleated lampshades, bringing to mind the dancers’ petticoats. + jeanmarcgady.com (via MoCo Loco: A.M.O Vase by Jean Marc Gady)
